Tax Manager and Elite forms: Error: ' Path not found, An unknown error occurred'

The error occurs when trying to lodge a prior year Tax Elite return

Follow the below steps:

  • You will need to be on the current version of Tax. To check this, open APS, go to About Access APS, Advance Tax Australia: 20xx.x.x.

  • Match the details of Tax_Forms_Data_Path, ELS_Lodge_Path and ELS_Receive_Path between Tax Manager and Systems and User Settings.

    Follow the below steps to find the path details.

    • Tax Manager, enter Client name, User Settings, Options.

    • Systems and User Settings, View Settings, System, AUSTAX.

  • If lodgement still fails despite path details being similar, then delete and re-create the prior year return and attempt to lo
