An issue has been identified in APS Tax whereby the following response error is generated when lodging a SBR tax return.
This issue occurs if the tax return was not saved properly.
Clearing the FailedDataRetrieval error
In Tax Manager under the View option, check the User Settings.
This will open the Options window. Look for Tax_Forms_Data_Path.
Please refresh the path as per the screenshot below. ๐Note: If you have the program installed on a different Drive (example D:\ADV2000\Taxforms) please refresh the files for that location accordingly.
Open the return in Started status, change the lodgement method from SBR to Paper or ELS, then change it back to SBR, click on Save and exit out of return.
Change the status of the return to Signed.
Lodge the return through Batch Processing, it should lodge successfully.
