This issue is caused when Batch Processing is running in the background. Please note that the resolution can be one of four different solutions. Please try one then check before attempting the next.
On your keyboard, press Ctrl Alt Delete and open Task Manager. Highlight aTBatchProcess and click End Task. You should now be able to Lodge, alternatively, you can also reboot the workstation to clear Batch Processing.
Go to ADV2000 folder, highlight aTBatchProcess.exe, right click and select Run as administrator. The Batch Processing window might now open.
In the Windows Control Panel > Programs and Features, run a Repair of the latest install APS Practice Management.
Uninstall the tax forms 2001-2011, 2012-2018, 2019-2023 and the latest install of tax. Copy the setup files to a folder on your local drive and then reinstall the setup files.
