XPA: Export from MYOB Essentials and import into XPA

Open MYOB Essentials, click on the Organisation Name.

Go to Import/export data.

Click on the export, enter in the date range, ensure export file type is Mye.

Click Export.

Locate the file (most likely in downloads folder).

Right click, go to 7-Zip, and click on Open Archive.

You will then be able to see the MYOBAO.TXT file and the EXTRACT.INF file.

Copy and save these files to your preferred file location.

Click Import.

Select the MYOBAO.TXT file from the saved folder.

The transactions from MYOB will import, (the MYOB Chart needs to be mapped to the XPA Chart).

You can use the same MYOBAO.TXT file to import the accounts from MYOB and then map them to the XPA ledger.

Confirm the Type is set to MYOB v12 or later.
