When importing data into XPA, one or both of the errors below may occur:
Failed to process the client data due to the following error below:
Unable to determine the filename from the connection string
'Provider=Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0;Data Source=;Persist Security Info= False;'
Failed to process the client data due to the following error below:
Cannot find the XPA file 'file path and name', please check your settings and permissions.
These errors will occur if an XPA ledger has not been selected to import into, or if the file path of the ledger has changed.
To resolve, please follow the steps below:
Select an XPA ledger to import into.
Open up the Collection by clicking on the + next to the Collection.
Select the correct Ledger and click Select.
Click Refresh.
You will then be able to import into XPA.
Click on the Endpoint and select General Ledger or Trial balance import.
Note: if the XPA file shows in Red then you will need to re-select the file and refresh the file path.
