XPA: Error: 'Template is missing,(430): Class does not support Automation or does not support expected interface'

Error appears after upgrading to Windows 11.

We recommend you consult your IT person to complete the below.

To resolve this issue a complete uninstallation and reinstallation of the entire APS suite needs to be completed.

  1. Before beginning, delete the ADV2000 folder in your local C: drive.

  2. Uninstall Practice Management.

  3. Uninstall all other APS consoles.

  4. Download and install the latest versions of Access APS Practice Management, Tax and XPA if applicable.

  5. Install Access APS Practice Management first.

  6. Continue installing the remaining APS consoles.

  7. Open APS and check that allm consoles open.
