Tax New Zealand: Error: Error retrieving on-premise agent' 'Unable to retrieve agent details for web return creation'

Errors occur when trying to move a return from Signed to Ready To Lodge

Updated over a month ago

This message indicates that the Tax Agent has not been set for this client in Central Console.

To resolve this error complete the following:

  1. Open Client details within the Central console.

  2. Populate the field Tax Agent, or check it has a valid entry.
