When opening an XPA ledger, the error message: 'Log file has invalid data.' appears and the file is locked.
You can try the following solutions to resolve this:
In APS Application list, click Administration Tool, and locate the affected ledger. Right click on the affected ledger to run a Compact / Repair.
In Central Console, click Actions, then click Extract log maintenance. Locate the affected log and right click to select Delete Log.
In the Ledgers folder, located the affected ledger and delete the .ldb file that's created when the file is opened.
In Windows Explorer, create a copy of the ledger and rename the ledger.
Merge the copy of the file into XPA.
Click File, Open/Select, then click on the merge file button.
Find the copy of the file you created.
Rename the copied file so it matches the original file’s name. Click File, Save As, select Rename, then change the name to match the original. Note: If you see a message indicating projects are linked to the XPA ledger during renaming, temporarily move the projects. After renaming, you can move them back.
