To use the timesheet integrity check, see the below:
Go to Timesheet Administration, Integrity Check.
Choose from the following options based on requirement:
Timesheet Integrity Check (Duplicate Records):
This test checks for any posted timesheet that have a duplicate narration and allows you to choose one to delete.
Hours not = Units:
Use when the hours on a posted timesheet entry do not match the units of the original timesheet entered by the fee earner.
Transactions that fit this scenario are shown on this form.
To correct the original timesheet entry, click the Apply button.
The style of the timesheet header is changed to standard in case there are any records that could not be presented correctly on a dairy style timesheet.
Unmatched WIP Entries:
This test detects when there are two posted time entries but only one matching entry is found in the original timesheet.
Any transactions that fit this scenario have a corresponding entry added to the fee earner’s timesheet for that period, with an appropriate narration.
The style will change to standard. The reason for choosing this course of action is because some of the WIP may already have been billed. It is safer to process timesheet adjustments should these be necessary.
