Once the timesheet headers are admin posted, users will not be able to make changes to their timesheets. However, the Timesheet Administrator can use the Timesheet Adjustment feature to create adjustment entries.

Note: Once the Period audit is closed, any adjustments made in a closed period will change the WIP movement and closing balances for that month. It is recommended to carry out adjustments in the current month after the user's week 1 timesheet header has been posted.
Timesheet adjustments can be used for the following scenarios
To correct mistakes after posting. For example, if the wrong number of units has been posted to a matter and the timesheet has been admin posted.
If the time has been posted to the wrong matter, you may try a WIP Move to transfer it to the correct matter. However, a WIP Move will not work if the WIP records have been billed or written off, or if the WIP is in a closed period. In that case a timesheet adjustments are necessary to credit one matter and debit the correct matter.
Post a Timesheet Adjustment
Open Timesheet Administration.
If you can, locate a posted timesheet for the Fee Earner in the current open period. Skip step 3 if you do.
Go to Tools, Period Audit. Open the Period if the period is closed on which you are trying to post the timesheet adjustment.
From the left panel, select the period of the month.
On the right, select the fee earner.
Right-click on the fee earner and select Adjustments.
If the Adjustment window is blank, at the top left of the screen, click the Create Adjustment Header button.
This will display an inactive form at the bottom of the window. Right-click on the blank grey area and select Add Entry to activate the timesheet adjustment form.
Fill in the form by selecting each field value and tabbing to the next field.
In the Units field, enter a positive value to increase the units posted, or a negative value to decrease the units posted. Note: Glide time is the opposite: A negative value will increase glide time, and a positive value will decrease glide time.
Click OK, and a line will appear at the top of the window for this adjustment.
From here, you can do the following:

Edit

Locate a previously created Timesheet Adjustment
Open Timesheet Administration.
Tools, Period Audit.
From the left panel, select the period of the month.
On the right, select the fee earner.
Right-click on the fee earner and select Adjustments.
Use the binoculars icon to view the original WIP entered by the Fee Earner on the date selected.
Double-click the entry you want to adjust to add it to the form.
Post the Timesheet Adjustment
ALTERNATE METHOD: Use the binoculars icon to view the original WIP entered by the Fee Earner on the date selected. Double-click the entry you want to adjust to add it to the form.
Click the Post button. After clicking Post, the adjustments will vanish from the screen.
Close the period(s) if you opened them when creating your timesheet adjustment.
Posted timesheet adjustments do not appear in timesheets. To see posted timesheet adjustments, at the top of the Adjustments window, click the Timesearch Search button.
