Tax Australia: 'Error: 75 Path/File access' when creating a Tax return

Error occurs when trying to create a Tax return in Tax Manager: 75 : Path/File access error

The following fields match the System and User Settings Console:

  • Tax_Forms_Data_Path

  • LS_Lodge_Path

  • ELS_Receive_path

  • VPN_Client_Dir

However, the affected client has two email addresses in the Client Console. To resolve this issue:

  1. Open Client Console.

  2. Go to Addresses.

  3. Click on Edit Mode.

  4. Right click on Email.

  5. Where there are two emails, select Delete Instance.

  6. Click Refresh at the top.

  7. Type in the emails again. Please do not copy/paste. Ensure no space after the colon and no colon at the end. Refer to this example as a guide:

  8. Click Refresh.

  9. Create your return as normal.
