The error occurs when prior year beneficiaries have been changed in the current year tax return.
It can also occur when the Clear button or the Select option is used to is used to clear the rolled over beneficiary details, or overwrite the details of the beneficiaries rolled over from previous year.
To resolve this issue, please follow the below steps:
Change the return status of the affected return along with all its associated returns to editable status. If any associated return has been lodged, please create a dummy amendment for that return so that the pending data can flow. You can find all the associated returns in the Sharing and Distribution report by clicking the Synchronise button inside the tax return.
Click Synchronise in the affected returns.
Change the status back to its original status.
Delete any dummy return made in the above step.
