Tax Australia: Error: 'Object reference not set to an instance of an object' occurs when trying to open an individual return

Close APS Tax.

Delete the .usf file in the following location: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Reckon Limited\Reckon APS Tax (It will be recreated on its own upon start of tax.)

Open the return and check if still comes up with an error.
