Tax Australia: Error: 'File is corrupt' when opening a Tax return

The client can be selected in Tax Manager but the return is unable to be viewed.

Follow the below steps to clear the error:

  1. Close all Access APS applications.

  2. Go to C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\The Access Group\Access APS Tax.

  3. Delete the WorkspaceLayout.usf file.

  4. Reopening Tax Manager recreates the workspace layout file.
