Tax New Zealand: Unable to retrieve 2025 IR3 return from IRD for (Client name). Response not successful: Received status code 409

Errors occurs when changing the status of the return.

A "409" error indicates the return was modified by another user at the same time.

Ask the other user to save and close the return, then refresh it on your end and continue working. As the return was accessed simultaneously, some data may have been lost.
