Tax New Zealand: Change the GST Ratio rate for a tax return in Tax Manager

The GST Ratio Rate can only be changed if there is no current‑year tax return for the client.

  1. Delete the current year's Tax Return.

  2. Refresh the Tax Manager screen

  3. Click on Edit next to Ratio Rate field.

  4. Update the percentage.

  5. Close the screen and Refresh.

  6. Tax Manager screen will be updated with the new rate.

  7. Re-create the current year Tax Return.
