SyncDirect: Error: The specified path, file name, or both are too long.

The following error has occurred while processing your request: The specified path, file name, or both are too long. The fully qualified file name must be less than 260 characters, and the directory name must be less than 248 characters.

To resolve this issue, an administrator is required to reset the Access APS User Profile using the following steps:

  1. Log the user having the error logged off from all of Access APS.

  2. Open System and User Settings.

  3. Select the affected profile name in the drop down list and click on Clear Setting.

  4. Select the _CLEAR ALL and click on the clear button.
