Practice Management: Check if the Matter is a Tax Matter

A Matter is created in Client Console but user is unable to find it in Tax Manager when creating a return.

The matter the user has created has to be set as a Tax Matter.

Client can check if the matter is a Tax Matter by following the steps below:

  1. Go to Central Console, Matter.

  2. S​​​elect the Matter (that the user is expecting to see in Tax Manager).

  3. Note down the name of Std Mtr* (Standard Matter) that is listed under the Details. In this example, the standard matter is Tax Return 2019.

4. Go to Standard Matters Console, search for Tax Return 2019.
5. Select the Tax Return 2019 Matter.
6. Ensure the Launch Method is aTEliteIntgn.advStartApp.
7. If not, the user can change it after clicking the Edit Mode button on top.
