Tax Australia: The Sex field is auto-filled for entities in Tax manager

When creating a tax return in Tax Manager, the Sex field may be automatically populated for entity returns such as Companies or Trusts, where this field should not be applicable.

Follow the steps below to ensure the Sex field does not appear for entity tax returns:

  1. Open Client Console.

  2. Locate the affected client.

  3. Go to Client Type and Australian Entity Type are verify they correctly assigned.

  4. Note the client's Client Type (for example: Trust, Company, Partnership, or Entity).

  5. Open Client Type Console and open the Client Type.

  6. Ensure the Natural Person setting is set to No for the relevant Client Types.

  7. Once this setting has been updated, the Sex field will no longer be displayed when creating TRT, PTR, or CTR returns.
