When trying to run the report, the following error message above occurs when creating excel reports from XPA:
This error occurs when the directory of the Excel folder has not been set in XPA. This might be due to the user being on a new machine and XPA has just recently been installed.
To fix this error, set the location of the Excel folder in XPA by completing the following steps below.
Set the location of the Excel folder in XPA
In XPA, File, Setup, Local Settings. The Local Settings window will be open.
Click the ellipsis button icon next to the Excel Folder path to set the path of the Excel Folder and click OK.
Alternatively:
Do a search for the file Excel.exe to find the location of the Excel folder on the machine and copy that path to Local Settings in XPA.
Run a test report. If Err:-2147221164 Class not registered occurs, please check Err:-2147221164 Class not registered for instructions on how to install or repair the Xcede Engine.
