The error appears if the interest income entered in the tax return does not match the amount recorded in the ATO Portal. The ATO has interest amounts on the Prefill report that they are expecting through the SBR Lodgment system.
Check the ATO portal for any missing interest income.
If you have prefilled the return, try prefilling it again. This will prefill any missing interest amount in the return.
If you have not used prefill, check the ATO portal to see if any other interest income exists in the prefill.
If the interest amount has been modified, then you need to also complete the Interest Adjustment Reason code and Description at Item 10.
