Tax Australia: Returns lodged in Tax Manager but ATO portal not showing as lodged

An issue has been identified in APS Tax where the user is unable to see the return status being lodged in the ATO Portal. However, they can see that it has been lodged in Tax Manager and there is a Message ID in the validation report with code CMN.ATO.GEN.OK | Message accepted - return lodged successfully.

  1. Ensure Method to use to lodge this return is not set to Paper or blank. If it was already set to SBR, continue to step 2.

  2. As advised by the ATO, wait a few days after the lodgement for it to appear in the portal.

  3. If it is still not shown as lodged on the portal, contact the ATO and request a Progress of Assessment to receive further clarification.

Note: This has been an ongoing issue with the ATO and they are looking to resolve this however it may take some time.
