Error This dividend either 1. Has come from prefill; 2. Has been distributed by a company; 3. Is shared with other tax payers...including a number of scenarios. Some individual returns won't update already distributed dividends if they were received via synchronisation. Dividend distribution can't be deleted in individual return.
An issue has been reported where some individual returns will not update already distributed dividends information if the dividends were received from a company return via synchronisation.
Once the dividends information is updated in the company return, the resynchronisation of company returns adds another record of dividends in the individual return instead of updating the original already distributed amounts.
The work around requires turning on the Development mode feature of the application, which can be only done by the administrator.
Please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article, and request for TAX -691 document that will provide step by step instructions on how to remove these entries from the Dividends Schedule of the individual return.
