Tax Australia: Unlock return in Extract Log Maintenance

A tax form has been created but is permanently in a read-only state and comes up with the message it is already open.

To clear the lock on a return, please follow the below instructions:

  1. Go to Action, Extract log maintenance.

  2. Look Under Tax online and select the user then right-click and select Remove Log.

  3. You can also select Drill down Details to confirm the return is the correct return you are unlocking.
