Tax Australia: VR.ATO.FBT.536277 FBT 2026 Year of return error

SBR error in the 2026 FBT returns.

This issue with Access APS Tax 2026.0.0 has been fixed in APS Tax 2026.1.0. (released 29th April).

Update your Tax to the latest release or follow the below workaround:

📌Note: APS needs to be closed before copying the Fix Files to their specified location.

  1. Download the FBT Fix.zip file.

  2. Extract the content inside the zip file to the C:\Program Files (x86)\Advance Tax\Tax directory.

  3. Creating new FBT returns will not display the 'VR.ATO.FBT.536277' error.
