Tax New Zealand: Deleting a return also deletes it's Reports

The Access APS New Zealand Tax 2026.02 release (March 2026) introduced a new enhancement that automatically deletes all associated reports whenever a return is deleted.

  • You may find that after deleting a return and immediately creating a new one, the deleted reports still appear in the list.

  • Although they look like they’re still there, they have already been removed.

  • If you attempt to open one, an error message may appear.

  • If this occurs, simply refresh your browser, and the report list will update correctly.
