This occurs when a client was a partnership in the prior year but is now a company and the return was rolled over.
Follow the steps below to resolve this issue:
Go to Client Console, Detail to confirm the correct Client Type is being used.
Delete the web return.
Delete the Tax return matter.
Recreate the 2025 return, but leave the 'Roll prior year's' matter box unticked.
The desktop return will now show as the correct type and include a ledger.
