When using a 64‑bit ODBC connection, Access APS Practice Management (PM) v11.2 or later is required.
APS PM v11.1 and earlier versions do not include the 64‑bit ODBC utility required for Version Control.
To confirm compatibility, check the Adv2000 folder for the following file:
aAUtil_x6432.exe
If this file is not present, the PM version is too old to support 64‑bit ODBC.
After upgrading to APS PM v11.2 or higher, the required executable will be available, allowing Microsoft Access 64‑bit to connect using a 64‑bit ODBC DSN.
To check you APS Practice Management version:
Log in to Central Console.
Go to Tools.
Double‑click on About Access APS.
