Tax Manager and Elite Forms: Error: 'CMN.ATO.GEN.XBRL01' and 'CMN.ATO.GEN.XBRL03'

Pre-lodge errors in the Individual tax return 'The message did not pass XBRL validation. Please contact your software provider (CMN.ATO.GEN.XBRL01)' or 'A field contains invalid data (such as letters in numeric or date field). (CMN.ATO.GEN.XBRL03)'

To clear the issue:

  1. Navigate to Item 21 - Rent.

  2. Clear any special character (! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) - _ = + \ | [ ] { } ; : / ? . >) that are present in the rental worksheet.

  3. In addition, also check if the Postcode is correct in the Rental Property Schedule.
