Practice Management: Error: 'Invalid correspondence item...Layout file is missing or Invalid'

We are receiving the following error when printing/previewing an invoice Invalid correspondence item...Layout file is missing or Invalid and cannot print/preview an invoice

Possible causes for this error:

  • The user doesn't have the correct permissions to the location where the invoice template is stored (The template location can be found in the invoice Layout field on the Correspondence page in the Entity Console.).

  • The file no longer exists in that location.

  • If there have been changes made to the layout design.
