Practice Management: Clear System and User Settings

How to clear the System and User settings, commonly known as SUPS.

To clear the system and user settings (SUPS):

  1. Ensure that the User's APS is Closed before proceeding.

  2. Login into APS as an authorised administrator.

  3. From the APS Application List, Select System and User Settings.

  4. Click the View Settings drop down menu and select User. This will activate the Clear Settings buttons & User list.

  5. Select the User’s name from the User list.

  6. Click on Clear Settings, and the window will pop up.

  7. Click on the required application, then click clear.

    📌Note:

    • Clearing the System and User Settings will only clear the Display, not the Data.

    • These steps must be carried out by an authorized person with the right administrator settings.

🤓Tip:

  • Select the _CLEAR ALL to clear all applications in the list in one go.

  • If several (but not all) need to be cleared, these must be completed one at a time. Tick the Keep window open after clearing settings checkbox to speed up the process.
