This error occurs when the Tax Agent Number embedded in the return does not match the Tax Agent Number Lodging the return.
To resolve this complete the following:
The tax Agent number is recorded inside the return when the return is created and it is a non editable field.
As long as the Tax Agent number at the time of the creation of the return was current this will not happen.
There are 2 options to fix this issue:
Option 1: Fix through the Integrity check for the return, check the Practice Management data and the return data for the tax agent number. Tick the select box if the system shows a different number for Practice Management Data and Different Number for Tax Return Data. Once they match the return should lodge successfully.
Option 2: If you are still unable to lodge the return, you will need to delete the return and recreate it, and by that, it will pick up the correct Tax Agent Number.
