PIQ: PIQ capacity reports show budget figures even when none are available in PM Budgets

PIQ reports are showing budget figures for periods where there are no budget figures displayed within the Practice Management Budgets.

Budgets are created based on a new starter’s initial start date. If the start date is later changed, the budget console adjusts the figures accordingly, but the PIQ capacity report still reflects the original start date.

Follow the below steps to resolve:

  1. Open the Budget Console.

  2. Select the affected staff name from the left-hand pane.

  3. Take a screenshot of their current budget before deleting the budget.

  4. Click on Edit.

  5. From the Action Menu, select Delete Budget.

  6. The icon beside the staff member's name in the left fee earner panel will appear grayed out.

  7. Click on the Fee earner name.

  8. Re-enter all budget data from the previously captured screenshot.
