APS Online: Backup Data

There is no backup for data saved in SharePoint apart from the Recycle bin within SharePoint. SharePoint is a Microsoft cloud product, much like OneDrive and Dropbox. Microsoft have their own backup processes for these cloud products.

The PM, XPA, and Tax Manager data is stored and backed up on the APS Online Server. The APS database is backed up every night and the server is backed up on a weekly basis. Backups can be restored as far back as 2 months.

If a backup/restore of the APS Database is required, the support team can access the backups on the server. They can also manually generate a new backup.
