Tax Manager and Elite forms: Error: 'VR.ATO.IITR.000280' or 'CMN.ATO.IITR.00028 at validation

The following error occurs in an Individual return when it has received a distribution from a Partnership return: CMN.ATO.IITR.000280 - Distribution from partnerships less foreign income amount is incorrect

There are two different methods to resolve this error, look at your worksheet to see which is applicable.

Resolution One

  1. Go to Partnership Distributions Received worksheet.

  2. Australian Source Income.

  3. Primary Production.

  4. Complete Gross Distribution section.

Resolution Two

  1. Go to Partnership Distributions Received worksheet.

  2. Australian Source Income.

  3. Franked Distributions.

  4. Enter 0 in Deductions.
